Locanda Rosa Rosae, an ancient watermill brought back to life by its owners and filled with whimsical antiques and collectibles, just what Martina was looking for and she and Jon couldn’t resist having their wedding here. Martina brought in her own whimsical touch by wearing a mod pair of Italian wedding shoes – ladies, dare to be different!
The outdoor area for their wedding ceremony needed little decor and a sheer white drape on wrought iron arbor was enough of a frame for their I do’s and persian rugs gave the ceremony aisle a boho feel.
The Italian wedding reception meal was filled with locally grown vegetables and homemade pasta and breads, prepared by the hosts with as much care as they put in restoring the mill for all to enjoy and welcoming young couples to start their married lives blessed by the good luck this countryside wedding venue near Venice brings.
