The right shoes for your destination wedding in Italy is more important than you think.  Beautiful heels will look great propped up on Italian tiles but a romantic stroll down cobblestone-clad alleys may make you think twice and bring a spare pair along to change into.

Have shoes, will travel

Your photographer will play around with your shoes during the wedding preparation shoot, so you want to be sure they are available, polished, and pretty.  That goes for bride and groom alike!  You may want to pre-empt your photographer and find some cute places you would like to have your shoes framed. If you’re getting ready for your Italian wedding with your bridesmaids, get all the ladies to put their shoes together for an everlasting memory of the good time you all had playing dress ups 😉

Style guide for Italian weddings

Italian weddichette says no sandals with your wedding gown, but open-toe pumps are ok as long as your nails are groomed and polished.  Nonetheless, if you go for sandals … go for the gold!
